Greenworks Lending welcomes Billy Patterson, Director for Midwest Markets

Greenworks Lending is pleased to introduce Billy Patterson as its Business Development Director for Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan and Wisconsin.  Patterson joins Greenworks from Fifth Third Securities Public Finance group where he served most recently as Principal. 

At Greenworks Lending, Patterson will lead the development of commercial PACE projects in the midwest. 

“Having seen Greenworks emerge as a go-to source for capital among commercial property owners, particulary in the Cincinnati area and then in Michigan and Wisconsin (Indigo Hotel project), I became very interested in their C-PACE offering,” recalled Paterson. “I’m looking forward to helping property owners and developers blend C-PACE into their capital stack to conserve capital while investing in the energy infrastructure of their buildings.” 

Greenworks Lending’s C-PACE financing provides long term fixed rate capital for energy saving and/or renewable energy projects. Property types can range from hotels to manufacturing facilities, office buildings and beyond.  Projects can be new construction or retrofits. 

Patterson is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa (B.A. in finance and real estate), Washburn University School of Law (J.D., focused on Business and Transactional Law with emphasis in Real Estate), and The University of Iowa (M.B.A. in Finance).
