Greenworks welcomes three interns for summer ’18: Bekah Heath, Jeff Kurzman, and Elyse Velky
Jessica Bailey, CEO & Co-founder of Greenworks Lending, is enthusiastic about the firm’s new interns.
“We are delighted to welcome our summer interns. They are all young professionals with interests across academic disciplines, including finance, sustainability, and communications. I have no doubt that they will bring tremendous value to Greenworks this summer. We are committed to making it as fulfilling an internship as we can. The list of projects they’ll be supporting us on is exciting and we are really looking forward to seeing how they can contribute,” stated Bailey.
Rebekah “Bekah” Heath (photo right) is a Clean Energy Business Development Intern at Greenworks. She is originally from Pawtucket, RI and graduated from Boston University in 2016 with a BA in Environmental Analysis and Policy. Bekah is currently completing her Master’s degree in Climate and Society from Columbia University and plans on graduating in October 2018.
She will be coordinating closely with Jessica Bailey for special project support while also helping the business development team to screen applications. Bekah will also be participating in the process of underwriting. Long-term, she is interested in large-scale renewable energy uptake and corporate sustainability.
Jeff Kurzman (center) is from Stamford, CT and is an incoming senior majoring in Economics and Environmental Studies at University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is working at Greenworks as a Clean Energy Intern. He will be supporting the business development team in pre-assessment analysis.
Elyse Velky (photo left) is an incoming junior at Quinnipiac University from Milford, CT, majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Management. She is a Marketing and PR intern and will be helping grow the Greenworks Lending brand while also increasing communication with business owners and connecting them to the advantages of PACE.
